US/FL/Boca Raton – The FBI Behavioral Science Unit has joined the search for a killer who bound and a shot a Florida woman and her 8-year-old daughter last week.
A Boca Raton, Fla., shopping center security guard discovered the victims, 47-year-old Nancy Bochicchio and her daughter Joey Bochicchio-Hauser, in the mall parking lot Thursday, sprawled in her idling SUV, apparently tied up then shot at point-blank range, The Palm Beach Post reported Sunday.

US/FL/Jacksonville – A man accused of killing seven women and convicted of one murder was sent to Florida’s death row on Thursday.
Paul Durousseau was convicted in June of the rape and slaying of 24-year-old Tyresa Mack in 1999. The same jury voted 10-2 to recommend the death penalty.
Durousseau’s attorneys argued that his life should be spared because he suffers from brain damage and other mental illnesses that impaired his behavior. But prosecutors said Durousseau was well aware of what he did when he killed the woman and deserved the death penalty.

US/FL/Jacksonville – After a several hours of deliberations Thursday, a jury recommended that an accused serial killer should be executed for the rape and slaying of a 24-year-old woman.
On June 8, the same jury of seven women and five men found Paul Durousseau guilty of first-degree murder in the 1999 killing of Tyresa Mack, a mother of three.
Durousseau was arrested in 2003 and is charged in the deaths of five other women. Trials on those charges are still pending.

US/Fort Myers/FL – As Fort Myers police try to identify the victims whose remains were found in a wooded area off Arcadia Street on March 23, they’re hoping information gathered by a forensic anthropologist and forensic dentist will help.
The remains are all those of white men between 18 and 49, said Heather Walsh-Haney, a forensic anthropologist from Florida Gulf Coast University, who police called into the case.

US/FL/Jacksonville – After more than 10 hours of deliberations, a jury found Paul Durousseau guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Tyresa Mack.
Mack, 24, was found dead in her Eastside apartment in July of 1999.
Over the course of the past two weeks, the jury has heard from dozens of witnesses and seen several pieces of evidence as the prosecution and defense made their cases.
In addition to Mack’s murder, Durousseau is also charged with killing five other women prior to his arrest in 2003.
