CN/Beijing - China’s Ministry of Public Security (MPS) has issued a class-A warrant for the arrest of a 39-year-old man suspected of murdering five persons on three occasions and defrauding 210,000 yuan (28,000 U.S. dollars) in northeast China.
The fugitive, Liu Renfeng, was suspected of involvement in a homicide case that occurred on Nov. 28 in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, in which one person was killed.
According to police investigation, the fugitive was also suspected of robbing and killing two persons on May 2, 2000, in Harbin.

US/Rosemead/CA – Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help today in finding whoever stabbed a 43-year-old woman in Rosemead.Detectives say a man stabbed Wang inside of her apartment. US/Atlanta/GA – The Georgia Supreme Court has upheld the conviction and death sentence of convicted serial killer Reinaldo J. Rivera, 43. In 2004, Rivera confessed to the rape and murder of four women dating back to 1999. The victims were 21-year-old Army Sgt. Marni Glista and three teenage girls: Tabitha Bosdell, Melissa Dingess, and Tiffany Wilson. The state’s highest court ruled unanimously that Rivera received a fair trial and that his crimes justified his sentence.
RU/Moscow – An 18-year-old Moscow skinhead claims he was racially motivated when he killed 37 people to “clean up the city.”

US/Wichita/KS – The state reached a $30,000 settlement in a case against two Massachusetts psychologists hired by the state to interview BTK serial killer Dennis Rader before his sentencing, Attorney General Paul Morrison said Thursday.
The 2005 lawsuit accused Robert Mendoza, a forensic neuropsychologist; Tali Walters, a forensic psychologist; and their company, Cambridge Forensic Consultants, of Chestnut Hill, Mass., of profiting from a videotape of an interview session with Rader. US/TX/Huntsville – Train-hopping serial killer Angel Maturino Resendiz, linked to at least 15 indiscriminate murders near railroad tracks around the country, said he deserved what he was getting and asked forgiveness before he was executed Tuesday night.
